Gender: Male
DOB: 8/27/2008

Richie is an exceptional dog, and is going to make some family exceptionally lucky. He hasn’t met a dog he doesn’t like, and cats don’t seem to interest him at all. Kids love him (as do adults). Richey seems happy with other dogs around, and just seems just as happy with only humans around. He’s just a happy dog all around! What are his downsides? Some might overlook Richie because he has a scar on his side from a hernia repair (but he says he feels just fine now.) He also has a bandage on one foot while his toe heals. He had a fracture that didn’t heal properly, requiring a partial amputation of one toe. He also seems to have a chronic issue with a slipped disc in his back that leads to substantial incremental weakness in the back half of his body. We are currently evaluating him to see what will be best for the long term. He is being listed as a special needs dog, but is NOT currently available for adoption until we have a better idea as to what his long term needs will be.

Coloring: Red Fawn
Racing Weight: 68 lbs.
